Development Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Through the Community Services Block Grant, CSBG, staff works with low-income families and individuals to help meet immediate needs, make plans for the future and move them towards self-sufficiency. Staff use a family-centered approach to assess the family or individual’s needs and initiate a service plan to improve life now and in the future.
