Washington-Morgan Community Action
Offers Ohio Benefit Bank

The Ohio Benefit Bank (OBB) at Washington-Morgan Community Action helps low to moderate-income individuals and families navigate the world of public assistance. Through the Benefit Bank, clients can see what programs they qualify for and get professional assistance with applying for them.

Programs available through the Benefit Bank include food stamps, child care subsidies, health coverage, school lunch programs, tax filing, HEAP and many others. Many clients will be surprised at what they are eligible for. The best part is how using the Benefit Bank simplifies the process. Rather than filling information out multiple times, the program only asks for it once. Clients do not have to apply for every program—they can pick and choose.

"It's easy to use and takes no more than an hour of your time. Best of all, it's free! I encourage everyone to have an OBB full benefit check,” said Mary Bayless, senior case manager at Washington-Morgan Community Action.

To work with a trained Ohio Benefit Bank counselor, please call Washington-Morgan Community Action at 740-373-3745 in Washington County or 740-962-3827 in Morgan County to set up an appointment.
