Leith Run Recreation Area
Leith Run is a multi-purpose development on the banks of the Ohio River and a popular attraction in Wayne National Forest. Leith Run is located 18 miles north of Marietta, Ohio on State Route 7, is fully accessible and offers a variety of activities.

The area is operated by a private concessionaire and open daily from mid-April to mid-October. The campground and boat launch are open 24 hours a day. The day use area is open from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm.

There are 18 overnight camping sites available. Each campsite has an electrical hookup, grill, fire ring, picnic table and lantern post. Drinking water, hot water showers, flush toilets and a dump station are located close by. The fee for camping is $20/night. Three walk-in primitive sites are available for $10/night. A campground host will collect fees during the summer months.

A variety of activities are available to day users as well as overnight campers. The fully accessible boat ramp provides easy access to the Ohio River. Wooden fishing piers also provide accessible fishing opportunities from the shore.

Two group picnic shelters are available for reservation through Washington-Morgan Community Action. The use fee for these shelters when reserved is $55/day. Each shelter has a maximum capacity of 65 people and is equipped with water and electricity, grills, and picnic tables. The area also offers a volleyball court, horseshoe pit, river overlooks and a playground.

Campsites 4,5,6,7,8,14 and 15 may be reserved toll free through the National Recreation Reservation System (NRRS) at 1-877-444-6777, TDD 1-877-833-6777 or through the website at www.ReserveUSA.com Campsites are otherwise available on a first come basis. NRRS charges an additional $9.00 service charge on all reservations.
